Founded
AMS in 1987. Started his
automotive career as a Sales
Representative and later
promoted to Assistant Sales
Manager at Borbein Young, a
warehouse distributor located in
St. Louis, MO. In 1971 he was
hired by Marvel Schebler, a
division of Borg Warner Corp.,
to develop a full-line of new
clutch components geared toward
automotive rebuilders and high
performance manufacturers. He
left Borg Warner in 1978 to form
a sales agency specializing in
clutch related products, again
geared toward rebuilders and
high performance manufacturers.
At the same time, he operated a
clutch rebuilding facility
located in Texas. Ron founded
AMS in 1987 to service North
American, Central American, and
Caribbean clutch rebuilders and
exporters with new clutch
assemblies, manual transmission
components, and related
rebuilding components. In 1996,
as the dominant supplier to
clutch rebuilders, AMS began
production of high quality new
clutch kits. Ron is one of the
most knowledgeable, experienced,
and respected leaders in the
clutch industry. |

Started
working at AMS in 1989 as a

to Sales Manager in 1993.
Promoted to Vice President in
1996. Previously worked in the
clutch rebuilding industry in
several capacities before
becoming a District Manager at
Nissan Motor Corp. Chris has a
B.S. from Southeast Missouri
State University in Cape
Girardeau, MO and an MBA from
Southern Methodist University in
Dallas, TX. He oversees many
activities including sales,
marketing, packaging, and new
product development. In
addition, he directly oversees
all sales activity in the
Rockies and Pacific Northwest. |

One of
AMS’ original employees starting
in 1987 as a Sales

Sales Manager in 1990. Promoted
to General Manager in 1993.
Previously worked as a Senior
Account Representative at
Missouri Bolt Co. For three
generations, Bob’s family has
been associated with the clutch
industry. He oversees many
activities including cataloging,
purchasing, production, and
inventory control. |

Started in
1993 at AMS as Controller.
Previously worked in various
finance and accounting
management capacities in the
transportation industry,
including Continental Airlines,
Ozark Air Lines, and the
Milwaukee Railroad. Paul has a
degree in Accounting from the
University of Missouri in
Columbia, MO and is a Certified
Public Accountant. He is
responsible for most of the
administrative functions at AMS,
including accounting, finance,
credit, human resources,
benefits, and insurance. |

Started
working at AMS in 1991. Has over 30
years of automotive and truck
part aftermarket experience as a
Counterman, Purchasing Manager,
and President of Joint, Clutch,
& Gear Service. He was also
General Manager at Central
States Power Products, a
distributor of new clutch
components. He is responsible
for all sales activity in the southcentral region of North
America. |

Joined AMS
in 1994. Before his promotion to
Regional Sales Manager in 1999,
he worked five years in
purchasing at AMS, while gaining
in-depth insight into inventory
management techniques, product
compatibility, and global
availability. Chris has a B.S.
from Southwest Missouri State
University in Springfield, MO
and has nearly completed an MBA
from Webster University in St.
Louis, MO. Chris served in the
U.S. Army Reserve. He is responsible for
all sales activity in the
central region of North America. |

in 2006. Had 25 years of
previous experience starting as
a WD sales person in the Los
Angeles marketplace, later
becoming a Sales Manager and
National Sales Manager. He spent
13 years as a Manufacturer’s
Representative before joining
Auto Com Link and then My Repair
Shop. Michael served in the U.S.
Navy. He is responsible for all
sales activity in the
northeastern region of the
United States and is based in
Toledo, OH. |

Joined AMS in 2010. Started as a District Manager with Gabriel Shocks and then worked 24 years for ZF Services (Sachs) in various positions including Key Account Manager and National Sales Manager of Program Groups. Barry attended Bluefield State University in Bluefield, W. Virginia. He is based in Atlanta, GA and is responsible for all sales activity in the southeastern region and also assists our sales team on select accounts and prospects on a nationwide basis.

in 2003 as a Network Manager.
Promoted to Director of
Information Technology in 2004.
Has worked with computers since
1985 and has been involved
in nearly all aspects of the
computer industry. Has dabbled
in music production and audio
equipment. Experience includes
main frame systems, processor
and chip development, robotics,
and programming. He handles all
aspects of the AMS information systems,
including managing the internal
systems, along with security and
advancement of technology to
position AMS at the front of
technology. |

in 1998. Had 25 previous years
of clutch experience as Q & A
Manager, Product Manager, and
Quality Manager at BWD Corp. He
worked to develop BWD’s kit
line, drafted cataloging, and
designed all product
manufactured offshore. Steve has
a B.S. in Fishery and Wildlife
Biology from Iowa State in Ames,
IA, and is a member of A.S.Q. and S.A.E. He is
responsible for new product
development and quality control. |

Purchasing and Receiving Manager
in 1995. Ron was
previously employed as a
Production Planner at Mesker
Door Co. and then as a
Production Planner and

at Lincoln, an
automotive/industrial
lubrication equipment
manufacturer. Ron has a B.A.
from the University of Missouri
- St. Louis and an Associate
Degree in Material Management
from St. Louis Community
College. He is responsible for
all purchasing and receiving
activities. |

employed at Secrest Engineered
Products, a manufacturer of
carburetor gaskets, where he
worked as a Tool and Die

is responsible for new clutch
production, kit assembly, and
changeover management. |

responsible for all aspects of
customer service including
working to better provide
customers with competitive
analysis, technical data, and
marketing support. |
