Marty Stone named 2004 Manufacturers'                  Representative Of The Year.

Fenton, MO – AMS Automotive, Inc. has selected Marty Stone as their 2004 Manufacturers’ Representative Of the Year. Marty is based in Tacoma, WA and has provided marketing and sales support for AMS in the Pacific Northwest since February 2001. He is one of the founding partners of AmeriWest Sales.

During the year, Marty continued to work closely with the existing AMS warehouse distributor customer base by finding new ways in which to increase their sales and profitability. This included reevaluating WD and jobber inventory requirements, creating effective promotional strategies, successfully implementing AMS marketing programs, investigating potential sales potential for product upgrades, and working with jobbers and installers to increase demand for AMS products.

In addition, Marty was instrumental in increasing overall AMS market share by converting several of the premier warehouse distributors in the Northwest region to the AMS product line. Drawing on his previous success and experience with the AMS lineup of RhinoPac and New Generation branded product, Marty was able to demonstrate the superiority of AMS product and service, coupled with the value of his in-field expertise.
